Associate Accountant

Associate Accountant Job Description:

RAJA Trading Company, Inc., a manufacturer of leading-edge medical and aesthetic equipment for the professional aesthetic industry and an operator of aesthetic anti-aging skin care centers is seeking an Accountant who will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Company by executing daily accounting tasks with strong attention to details. This will be a full-time on-site position in Falls Church, Virginia

General Accountabilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Issue and prepare invoices
• Assist in inventory control
• Perform reconciliations, noting and reporting discrepancies found in records
• Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist other departments such as HR and Sales/Marketing with reviewing and providing information about expenses
• Update financial data in a timely manner
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate
• Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, filing and making copies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Education: Minimum B.A. in Accounting, MBA in accounting a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Experience with T accounting and General Ledger accounting principles.
• Experience with maintaining and reconciling the financial statements (Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheet) for a small or medium size business.
