Job Description
ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician - Level I will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. Key Responsibilities:
The Calibration Technician - Level I will primarily be responsible for the calibration of electronic and mechanical test equipment, either at our customers’ sites or in ETI’s laboratory. This job requires travel. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan the sequence of testing and calibration procedures;
- Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot problems with customers’ equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, and dimensional instrumentation;
- Create, update, and maintain data sheets for test equipment;
- Maintain customer, vendor, and equipment databases;
- Manage customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive the timely turnaround of equipment.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in a related field required. Electronics technician experience strongly preferred. Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training also preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States for up to one week at a time.
- An entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow within an organization.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check.
