Coin-Op Amusement Service Technician

We're now hiring a Service Technician to help us keep growing. We service a wide variety of establishments with coin-operated amusement machines including, but not limited to; jukebox, pool tables, dartboards, arcade games, ATMs, etc.

The mission of the Service Technician is to troubleshoot, service, install, and repair amusement equipment at customer establishments throughout the service area. The technician responds to service calls, resolves customer issues, and supports management in maintaining strong customer service within our service area.

Responsibilities for Field Service Technician

• Respond to service calls for equipment repairs in an efficient manner by prioritizing calls according to urgency and current location.
• Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Install, inspect, and test hardware, equipment, and associated systems as required for efficient, continuous business operations.
• Interact with clerks, management, and customers to resolve issues as they arise.
• Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and logs.
• Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and rapid turnaround of product.
• On-call weekend service once per month.
• Create reports of the customers they serviced that day
• Demonstrate how to use the equipment
• Advise customers on the equipment
• Make equipment recommendations to customers

Qualifications for Field Service Technician

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience troubleshooting/repairing video gaming terminals preferred but not required.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Experience in the use of electrical instruments (i.e. gauges, meters, etc.)  Preferred but not required. 
• Ability to read, write, and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Strong electronic/mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across departments.
• Ability to work as a team or independently as required, delegate as necessary, and has excellent leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works with equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moderate conditions including temperatures ranging from 50°ree;F to 90°ree;F. Normal conditions are climate controlled.

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
