Job Description:

As a Training Coordinator you will be responsible for organizing, managing, coordinating, and administering training programs for employees across various departments. Working within the Program Management Office (PMO), you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of training initiatives to enhance employee skills, performance, and overall productivity.

Requirements:

  • This position is currently hybrid (remote/onsite) and will require working on site in McLean VA, at least three days a week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in training coordination, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and iSolved learning management systems (LMS).
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate Training Programs:
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop appropriate programs.
Schedule training sessions, reserve training venues, and ensure all necessary resources are available for seamless program delivery.
Communicate training schedules, objectives, and logistics to participants and stakeholders.

2. Training Material Preparation:
Assist in the creation and customization of training materials, including presentations, handouts, manuals, and multimedia content.
Organize and maintain training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to trainers and participants.

3. Participant Management:
Manage participant registrations, including enrollment, attendance tracking, and providing necessary pre-training materials.
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, addressing inquiries, providing support, and facilitating a positive training experience.

4. Training Delivery Support:
Provide logistical support during training sessions, including setup of training rooms, audiovisual equipment, and technical troubleshooting.
Coordinate with external trainers or vendors as needed to facilitate specialized training sessions.

5. Evaluation and Feedback:
Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness through participant feedback, surveys, and performance assessments.
Compile and analyze training data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future training programs.

6. Manage iSolved Learning Management System (LMS) :
Manage and update the iSolved LMS and provide end user training reporting and statistics.

7. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate training records, including participant rosters, attendance records, and training evaluations.
