Job Description

As the Annual Giving Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of Connelly School of the Holy Child's fundraising efforts. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to cultivate and steward annual donors, including parents, alumnae, faculty, staff, friends of the school, corporations and foundations. This role requires a dynamic and motivated individual who is passionate about fundraising and making a difference in the lives of young women.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising

  • Coordinate the annual giving operations to ensure annual metrics are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all aspects of The Fund for Holy Child with an expectation to be data driven and responsive throughout the year if corrective actions are needed to meet goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing & communications team to write, design, and create materials to support annual giving efforts, including direct mail, email appeals, impact reports, the annual report, website content, and social media posts.
  • Recruit and manage Fund for Holy Child volunteers for all constituencies with timely updates; provide clear guidance, and positive encouragement.
  • Develop and grow relationships with Willow level prospects (Donors of $1961-$4999) through phone, email, video call, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Coordinates with the Head of Development to support the Mayfield Society outreach.
  • Develop the Holy Child Partners Program to engage corporate support.
  • Explores potential grants and submits proposals as needed.

Stewardship

  • Design and implement, in partnership with the Head of Development, a creative and segmented stewardship program to strengthen and build long-term relationships with constituents including the Mayfield Society, first-time donors, leadership donors and the Legacy Society.
  • Manage content and coordinate production of Annual Report and other Development publications.

Events

  • Oversee the Fund a Tiger Gala Outreach.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Holy Child, representing the school at internal and external events as needed.

Committee and Meeting Support

  • Establish a student club to both bridge the student and alumnae communities to foster a greater understanding of philanthropy at Holy Child.

Connelly School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school for young women in grades 6 through 12. The school is committed to the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, physical, and social development of its students. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a focus on annual giving.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting fundraising goals, preferably in an educational or cultural institution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and donor stewardship skills.
  • Experience using donor management software, preferably Raiser's Edge or a similar platform.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information.
  • Willingness to be a team player and member of the community.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all community members in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Strong understanding of, and respect for, the Catholic faith, beliefs, and practice.
  • Commitment to embrace the school's mission and values.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events and fundraising campaigns.
