This role will work heavily with the Ronald McDonald House Technology Services team to administer, manage and support the organization’s applications, systems, and system services. The ideal candidate will work hand-in-hand and report directly to the Technology Manager. As the initial point of contact, IT analyst will be at the forefront of out IT Operations, ensuring smooth functionality and providing essential support for end users. Daily responsibilities will involve administering critical application, delivering hands-on assistance to end-users and families, fostering collaboration across all departments, and contributing to various projects and initiatives as needed.

The salary range for this role will be 60-68. The schedule is onsite Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM with some flexibility and weekends as needed.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring prompt resolutions or escalation when necessary.
  • Application Administration: Administer and main core applications, including user management. (Office 365, VoIP, EHR, AWS, etc.)
  • Collaborate with various departments/teams to address IT needs and requirements.
  • Participate in various IT projects and initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities and efficiency.
  • Create, update, and maintain internal documentation related to IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT, admin, hospitality or related field
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Familiarity with Windows Servers, AWS, and IT Infrastructure, such as firewalls and switches
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to empathize with end-users and provide timely effective support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with end-users and collaborate amongst various teams and departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently within tight deadlines, must be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively contribute to the organizational goals.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and environments and quickly learn new skills as needed.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Proven capability to navigate and excel in diverse cultural contexts, fostering effective communication and collaboration across all the organization.

  • This job is located in the same facility where RMH-NY provides temporary accommodations to pediatric patients and their families while the patients are undergoing active medical treatment at area hospitals. For some RMH-NY guests, medical treatment may include radiation therapy. While radiation therapy is never administered at RMH-NY, there is the potential for some radioactive material to be present in guests who have undergone radiation therapy. Based on radiation measurements performed throughout RMH-NY, it is not expected that individuals working at RMH will receive radiation doses that would exceed the general public limit (100 millirem per year).
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Noise levels often increase with families and children who have temporary residence in the building as well as guests and musical performers for special events as well as mechanical equipment
  • Some weekends and evening hours may be necessary for this job
