Position: Inventory Control Specialist

Department: Service - Imaging Division

Supervises: Internal Service Operations Staff

Reports To: Service Operations Manager


GENERAL SUMMARY:

We seek an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory, optimize processes, and boost warehouse productivity. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing purchase orders, verifying quantities, and preparing documentation. Candidates should have experience in inventory optimization, demonstrate self-initiative, be highly dependable, have strong organizational skills and pay meticulous attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Managing, evaluating, and reporting on item availability and lead times to the Service Operations Manager.
  2. Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and allocation of parts, consumables, and equipment.
  3. Ordering parts, consumables and equipment as well as maintaining suitable inventory levels.
  4. Receiving Purchase orders, verifying, and adding to inventory with accuracy.
  5. Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  6. Performing audits of current stock and submitting corrections for approval.
  7. Coordinating and maintaining a clean working environment.
  8. Communicating and coordinating with other departments, technicians and supervisors
  9. Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Possesses a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs. occasionally; up to 50 lbs. frequently, from overhead to the floor.
  • Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within the warehouse is recommended. Forklift operation training will be provided if not already certified and will be required.
  • Capable of remaining seated for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours per day.
  • Has the ability to see objects closely, discriminate colors, and perceive depth continuously.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

  • High School Diploma or related certifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, transportation, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Supervisory or related experience.

Any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent and acceptable will be considered.
