Job Description
The Lodgco Hospitality Internship Program is a gateway to real-world Hospitality experience. This program is ideal for college students looking to enhance their knowledge of the hospitality industry with practical, hands-on experience that complements their coursework. Successful completion of the program can lead to future internships or full-time positions with the company. 


The program will include:

  • Experience in key hotel frontline positions for a semester or 10-week period
  • Cross-departmental rotation: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales
  • A Platform for aspiring hospitality professionals to learn from the experts

What you will gain:

  • Practical experience in fundamental frontline hospitality positions
  • Consistent coaching and feedback will be provided to assist in your growth and development throughout and after the program
  • Our training and development program is centered on your personal and professional growth, as well as the essential skills needed to excel in the hospitality industry


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility in working various entry-level service positions within the property
  • This position will rotate between front office, housekeeping, food & beverage outlets and/or sales
  • Understanding of daily hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internal rules, including brand-specific procedures and rules
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guests
  • Ensure that all the school-specific internship program requirements are met. Please note - program may be flexible to meet specific internship requirements
  • Additional departments/roles may be added based on business needs
  • Attend to and anticipate guest's needs
  • Attend regular meetings with the General Manager to track progress and growth
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the General Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree or certification in the hospitality industry or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hotel business demands
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US
  • Customer service experience is preferred

Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights, weekends and holidays.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Satisfactory criminal background screening required. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record may be required


Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
