The Position:

The Financial Advisor manages and advises client relationships in collaboration with peers and the client service team. By genuinely providing excellence in advice, planning, investment management, and service to current and prospective clients, the Financial Advisor positively represents the vision and mission of Brown|Miller Wealth Management, LLC. It is the Financial Advisors responsibility to proactively advise clients, act as a fiduciary and prudent steward of client assets, cultivate new client relationships, and collaborate with peers in formulating planning and investment strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Adopt and implement Brown|Millers advice, planning, and investment management process: Discover. Design. Deliver.
  • Deliver consistently superior and proactive client advice and service.
  • Actively respond to incoming emails, phone calls, and requests from current and prospective clients.
  • Create and follow own action plans/tasks based on client needs and requests.
  • Stand ready to back up peers as needed to ensure clients receive seamless guidance, advice, and service.
  • Collaborate with team to formulate and maintain planning and investment strategies.
  • Actively participate with the investment management team by sharing and leveraging experience, knowledge, and research.
  • Engage and adopt established operational and administrative systems, processes, and procedures to deliver an efficient and consistent level of service and a pleasant client experience.
  • Ensure a smooth, seamless, and pleasant client experience.
  • Collaborate with the client service team regarding all administrative actions and functions to ensure an exceptional level of service and experience for all clients.
  • Work with CCO and Compliance Administrator to remain current and knowledgeable on all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and document client interactions.
  • Proactively identify and promptly rectify compliance issues.
  • Ensure all personal industry licenses and professional designations are properly active and up to date.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least one of the following financial industry professional license/designation: Series 7 & 66, 65, Investment Advisor Representative, or Certified Financial Advisor
  • Certified Financial Planner certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years of investment/financial industry experience serving as a financial advisor, client service professional, or financial/investment analyst
  • Clean compliance history and a track record of success in cultivating and managing client relationships
  • Self-motivated professional with a drive toward delivering excellence in client advice, guidance, planning, and service
  • Must genuinely enjoy working with other professionals in a supportive team environment
  • Must take ownership of Brown|Miller mission and contribute to it wherever needed
