NAPA Auto Parts (Premier Parts, Inc.) is searching for an experienced Store Manager who truly cares about our employees and customers. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving store sales growth, managing employees to the superior levels of customer service NAPA has come to expect and engaging in all store operations.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily store operations to improve market penetration while providing excellent customer service
  • Create a superior customer service experience to drive store growth and increase sales and profitability
  • Continue to build upon relationships with customers in our market and surrounding areas
  • Assist ownership to plan workloads and assign work schedules on a daily/weekly basis
  • Ensure that retail and commercial customers have an exceptional shopping experience and have all of their sales and service questions answered
  • Assist in inventory management and stocking
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including vehicles, for all employees
  • Work with the dealer counter to ensure orders and deliveries are going out in a timely manner
  • Assist customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person or over the phone
  • Review sales trends and progress with store salespeople, ownership, employees and distribution center management teams
  • Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times
  • Target new markets for expanding wholesale efforts through increased outside selling, targeting of Major Account customers, and the addition of new NAPA Auto Care members

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
  • 2+ years of automotive industry management experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
  • Valid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record per our insurance carrier's guidelines
  • Must be able to pass standard pre-employment drug screening as well as CRT physical exam
