Essential Position Duties:
- Ability to learn and implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy
- Maintain a cheerful, nurturing, healthy, safe and clean environment
- Establish and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with families and staff
- Monitor growth and development of each child
- Protect the rights and privacy of children and families by maintaining strict confidentiality
- Work towards increasing knowledge and abilities in the field of early childhood education
- Understand and comply with state and local childcare regulations
- Flexibility in moving and working in different classroom age groups (infant through pre-k)
Requirements
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree or CDA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience of at least one year of working in a preschool or chiildcare setting
- Covid vaccinated
