Job Description
- Serves as an entry level Program Data Specialist providing data analysis, including identifying and recognizing trends across data sets, locations, targets, etc.
- Compiles data from multiple sources.
- Monitors and assesses data for accuracy, integrity, authenticity, expectancy, timeliness, relevancy, intelligence gaps, and viability.
- Participates as part of a group to determine relevancy of investigative information as related to priority requirements and organize and conduct detailed examinations of information gathered during complex criminal and civil investigations.
- Participates-in formal and informal briefings.
- Participates as part of a group in the development methodology to exploit investigative information, to include conducting periodic progress reviews, as well as coordinating and completing quality control of all work products.
- Reports individual findings on an ongoing basis to lead personnel.
- Performs data entry as needed from hard copy and soft copy documents into a large-scale data processing system via a keyboard device, optical character reader, or other input device to include scanners, digital cameras, and copy machines, as appropriate.
- Experience using MS Excel, Power BI, and/or other data analytic/visualization tools in order to design and build formulas, charts, links, pivot tables, etc. and manipulating unstructured data from different platforms.
