Our expanding law practice is looking for a Paralegal with strong knowledge of all aspects of family law who can hit the ground running as we build our perfect team.

For our clientele, we believe in helping our clients understand the divorce process so they can make informed decisions about their future.

You will be a member of a dynamic and developing team. Applicants must be experienced, well-organized professionals who can work alone and with minimal supervision.

Because this is a full-time position, you must work 40 hours a week in the office (as soon as it is safe to do so). Compensation is negotiable based on experience, with the option of obtaining bonus compensation for excellent performance.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, so we never miss a deadline
Compensation:

$60,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, organize, and analyze discovery and records
  • Read financial statements and prepare financial disclosures
  • Determine and meet all deadlines by monitoring progress for all deliverables
  • Maintain case files and additional relevant information in a nicely organized and easily accessible manner
  • Speak with clients to provide quality service, answer basic procedural inquiries about their case, and obtain information about their legal difficulties
Qualifications:
  • Experience with standard office management software: internet, email, word processing, case management, time & billing, legal research, document management
  • Familiarity using standard office equipment such as a scanner, copier, and printer
  • This position requires you to agree to participate in a 20-question written interview that examines your knowledge, abilities, qualifications, habits, and behaviors (including attention to detail, communication skills, and technical legal knowledge)
  • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills
