We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Team Lead located at our Southern Pines, NC facility. The Warehouse Team Lead will assist the Assistant Manager, SOP Warehouse by leading and directing the warehouse personnel in their daily operations to include receiving inbound material, inspection, and validation of materials, storing, and picking and shipping operations. The Team Lead must direct outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner to ensure that customer expectations are met on a daily basis. The Team Lead will identify, report, and troubleshoot issues and concerns associated with our warehouse management systems which will require a level of technical expertise to coordinate with our IT support staff.
Responsibilities of the position include:
• Coordinate the daily activity of the floor personnel associated with the fulfillment and shipping operations (SPA, LTL, TL shipments).
• Coordinate the daily activity associated with the receipt and inspection of materials
• Coordinate the put away or placement of materials into the warehouse
• Report systems issues to Help Desk resources and follow through to resolution
• Maintain the shipping stations and ensure that handheld scanners and other RF tools are working properly.
• Special projects as assigned
Requirements of the position include:
• 2-4 years of Warehousing and Shipping experience
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills to support operations including hands on support when required
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Experience leading a team
