Position Responsibilities

Deltek, a leading provider of software solutions for project-based businesses, seeks a Sales Enablement Program Manager to design and lead strategic enablement programs. The Program Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to the sales leadership team and partner with various departments as needed to proactively identify, design, and implement key enablement programs to accelerate sales teams' success. This individual contributor role involves examining sales environments for enablement opportunities and creating engaging programs for salespeople's development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with specific sales stakeholders to foster strong working relationships and trust. Advise stakeholders on enablement programs based on data-driven insights.
  • Enablement Platform Adoption: Utilize Deltek's sales enablement platform, Allego, to execute programs and increase retention.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner internally with sales enablement leadership, instructors, instructional designers, and other PMs to plan and execute programs effectively.
  • Measure Learning Effectiveness: Analyze key performance indicators through Deltek internal tools to assess program effectiveness. Utilize the Kirkpatrick model to track satisfaction, learning, and behavioral elements. Assess improvements for subsequent iterations, including post-program reviews and feedback documentation.
  • Coaching: Partner with sales managers to ensure effective delivery and reinforcement of enablement programs.
  • Product Enablement: Support Product Marketing with sales team enablement based on the company's product launch and release calendar. Execute practice sessions to prepare sales teams for launches/releases.
  • Sales Plays: Continually evaluate team and individual performance against annual sales plays. Design programs to coach desired skills or behaviors, gaining executive approval and executing end-to-end.
  • Tool Training & Adoption: Manage adoption and optimal usage of enablement and productivity tools, such as SFDC and call analytics platforms, for specific sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Passion for training and enablement with a focus on sales professionals and customers
  • Experience in sales enablement, training, and/or program management
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and implement change
  • Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience and success in a quota-carrying selling role preferred
  • Knowledge of selling strategies and best practices in technology sales preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Allego is a plus
