Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
Are you a dedicated School Psychologist looking to make a difference in the Brentwood area? We're seeking a passionate individual to join our team and provide essential support to students, families, and educators.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional success.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review assessment results, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and make recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations.
- Offer consultation and training to school staff and parents on topics related to child development, behavior management, and mental health.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Tennessee license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
