About the Role: Job Title: Performance Engineer OR Performance Tester Location: Tampa, Florida - Hybrid 3 days on-site Job Description: The candidate should have a passion for tackling complex problems and helping develop innovative solutions, attain a self-motivated pro-active attitude, inquisitiveness, and eagerness to learn, and demonstrate ownership with the drive to troubleshoot issues methodically and deliver under pressure. A successful candidate will have experience working within an agile software development lifecycle, collaborating with his team, partnering effectively, and executing on cross-dependencies across the organization with technology leads, architects, production management, business analysts, and quality assurance groups. Key Responsibilities: 5 years of performance testing & engineering Strong experience in Developing performance test scripts in JMeter, LoadRunner & other equivalent performance testing tools Experienced with Blaze meter Knowledge of industry-wide standards and current technology trends in performance engineering areas Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Working proficiency in development toolsets Understanding of architecture and designs across all the systems Proficiency in one or more programming languages(java/python/JavaScript) Experience with standard profiling/monitoring tools - Dynatrace, Grafana, Jprobe, Jconsole, and Splunk Provides tunning recommendations to resolve complex performance issues(response times, throughput, Heap, CPU, Garbage collection, network issues) Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve goals Able to understand & develop automation test scenarios using Selenium BDD framework or equivalent tools/framework is plus Skills & Technologies Monitoring tools - PerfMon, Dynatrace Visualizing tools – Grafana/Kibana Performance Engineering Deep dive tools – Dynatrace, JVM thread, and Java heap monitoring & analysis Log processing - Splunk/Kibana Test tools – JMeter, LoadRunner, Blaze meter Other Skills – Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, Microservices architecture understanding, working knowledge of Kubernetes and Oracle/MongoDB knowledge Salary Range: The salary for this position is between USD $90000 - $95000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
