Full-Time School LPN - Defuniak Springs, FL
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position in Defuniak Springs, FL, for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. As an LPN contracted through ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students within the school setting.
- Administer medication and medical treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
- Monitor and assess the health needs of students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida LPN license.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
