Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Maestro: Manage the SVP's schedule with meticulous precision, juggling meetings, appointments, travel arrangements (including association conferences and events), and ensuring seamless logistical execution.

  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Research, prioritize, and tackle incoming requests and tasks with initiative, ensuring the SVP receives the information they need, when they need it.

  • Communication Virtuoso: Craft compelling presentations, reports, and correspondence that clearly communicate key messages and support the SVP's goals, tailored to various association stakeholders.

  • Logistical Expertise: Plan and execute meetings and events flawlessly, anticipating needs and ensuring every detail is perfect, particularly for association-specific functions.

  • Adaptable and Agile: Embrace unforeseen situations with grace, resourcefulness, and a can-do attitude, maintaining composure under pressure and adjusting to changing priorities swiftly.


Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience supporting senior-level executives in an association setting, demonstrating a track record of success and a deep understanding of the association landscape.

  • Possess exceptional judgment and the ability to handle sensitive information with maturity and professionalism.

  • Manage multiple tasks effortlessly, meeting deadlines consistently even in fast-paced environments.

  • Think outside the box, finding creative solutions to challenges and streamlining processes within the association context.

  • Articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, and tailor your approach to diverse audiences, including association members, leaders, and external stakeholders.

  • Expert in Microsoft Office and Zoom, with the ability to create visually appealing presentations using PowerPoint.

  • Thrive with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects, anticipating needs, and demonstrating initiative.

  • Be prepared for domestic travel up to 15-20%, supporting the SVP at industry events and association conferences.
