What Will You Do as a Vacation Rental Operations Manager? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our Vacation Rentals team at Arrived. We strive to provide the highest caliber experiences for our guests by ensuring timely turnovers, routine maintenance, and extraordinary services & experiences to ensure 5-star ratings at all our properties. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of processes that meet the highest standards of vacation rental management. Expert organization, communication, time-management, and prioritization skills are essential to high performance. We’re expanding our property management arm at a quick pace, and you will help us keep on track and ensure that even at scale, we’re providing a world-class experience for all our guests. Here’s How You Will Contribute Property Operations: Responsible for ensuring property turnover & maintenance processes are executed flawlessly & documented for our vacation rentals portfolio. Sourcing, onboarding & managing our local partners closely to support property operations and ensure 5-star guest experiences across our portfolio. Create and execute operational process flows related to vacation rental management, including property upkeep, guest communication, listing management, reviews & ratings. Confirm that all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and kept compliant according to local (state, city, HOA) regulations and safety standards. Guest Operations: As the steward of the property, it will be crucial to maintain an owner’s mindset to ensure the property is ready to host guests and ready to create lifelong memories. Own communication & escalation channels, at times including responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, requests and issues. Ensure that guests receive outstanding service throughout their stay and address any issues or concerns that may arise. Encourage 5-star reviews for increasing property revenue and act swiftly to correct when a 5-star review is not earned. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with internal teams, including Design, Operations, and Property Management, to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and requirements. Where needed, act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, including GCs, suppliers, vendors, and third-party service providers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on the progress, challenges, and successes of property onboarding projects. Here’s Who We Are Looking For Hospitality Mindset - Empathy and prioritization of the guest experience is foundational to this role; proven experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of vacation rental operations highly preferred. Communicate openly - Transparency is very important to you; You always ask questions and clarify, never assuming. You adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and you feel an inherent need to grow and learn. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but it’s not a requirement if you are otherwise an ideal candidate. Authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency. Flexible schedule, as this role may require weekends and holidays.
