Medical Scribe

Position Title: Medical Scribe/Care Coordinator -

Vancouver, WA

Part-Time - approximately 10 hours per week

We are a growing medical practice located in Greater Portland. Our group of medical providers offers care to patients in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Centers throughout the Portland and Vancouver areas. We have been in business for 10 years and our group is currently 50+ strong consisting of 20+ medical providers (MD’s PA’s and NP’s) along with our administrative staff. We are currently looking for a Medical Scribe/Care Coordinator to assist our Medical Provider while attending to patients in 1 Skilled Nursing Facility in Vancouver, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Locates and ensures patients are available in their residence for their exam
• Enters medications/demographic data into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Enters notes into patient record as directed by the Medical Provider
• Helps with patient referrals, prescription refills and other patient administration as required.

Position Qualifications & Skills:

• 1 - 2 years experience in a medical office environment utilizing medical terminology
• Experience navigating an Electronic Medical Record system
• Competent filing, typing, organization and data input skills
• Strong interpersonal and patient interface skills
• Fundamental technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
• High school degree. Associate degree a plus
