Mailroom Clerk

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Mailroom Clerk to join our team at our client site located in the UNCC area of Charlotte, NC. This role starts at 7 months in duration but often these assignments run multiple years and it is highly likely to be extended. This person will perform 10-Key data entry, open/sort mail payments using a mail sorting machine, and break down by payment type. This position has lots of opportunity for overtime hours and will work the following schedule:

*First day will be a Tuesday or Wednesday and training will begin at 5:30am.

• Mon: 4am - 12:30pm
• Tue: 5am - 1:30pm
• Wed: 5am - 1:30pm
• Thu: 5am - 1:30pm
• Fri: 5am - 1:30pm

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Requires basic computer skills and the ability to work independently with exceptional 10-key accuracy
  • Expected to meet minimum requirements of 7,000 numeric keystrokes per hour when entering basic amount data
  • There is a 10-key assessment that is required for all applicants
• Must be able to research and reconcile customer payment information
• Must be reliable and have excellent attendance

The selected candidate will be a W2 employee of Johnson Service Group, Inc. and will have access to health, vision, and dental benefits if they are elected. This role pays $16.50/hour for all hours up to 40 and $24.75/hour for all hours above 40 in a week.
