Clinical Director

This position is located in Far Rockaway NY

Do you have a desire to assist and advocate for some of NYC most vulnerable while empowering staff and service providers engaging with those youth? If so, we are seeking an Clinical Director Of Programs (LCSW) to join our team of dedicated employees! The incumbent will oversee the operation of medical/ mental health and administrative functions.

This is a full-time, permanent position that works 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday, with evening/overtime as needed. Valid NYS drivers license required.

Education Requirement: Minimum MSW/MA degree w/LCSW required; 3-years experience in non-profit/child welfare sector, preferably within congregate setting, and 2-years of progressive supervisory experience. Must have ability to prioritize and multitask: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail; ​Strong organizational skills; Exceptional leadership skills with a bias for action; Strong writing and presentation skills; Training experiences is a plus.

Brief Overview: The Clinical Director oversees the provision and efficiency of the clinical/mental health services and supports overall program function, operation, growth and stability. Serves as a leader to help define and implement a vision of quality improvement, serves as an operations consultant to address day-to-day aspects of organizational function, provides supervision to the agency's medical/mental health staff. The Clinical Director is a senior leadership role, supporting the Executive Offices and program leadership as needed. This position reports to the agency Executive Director and works closely with ACS,OCFS and other stakeholders to ensure agency success and compliance.
