Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Columbus, GA. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans and providing therapeutic interventions.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance function and independence.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, ensuring equipment is in proper working order.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Georgia Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Part-time, flexible hours. Specific schedule to be determined based on candidate availability and clinic needs.

Compensation:
