Your role is to provide instruction, create lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, evaluate student performance, and promote a positive learning environment. You will be collaborating with the Directors of Curriculum Development to create curriculum and lesson plans, as well as provide academic support to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field from an accredited college or university (required)
- Master's degree in Chemistry or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 2 years' experience as a Science instructor or tutor (required)
- Knowledgeable with AP Chemistry content and tests
- Science competition knowledge (preferred)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Proven experience assisting students with essay review
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy are imperative)
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities

JOB DUTIES:
- Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
- Prepare students for science competitions
- Assess students' needs and provide extra support in any lacking areas
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
