Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Support patients during therapy sessions, providing guidance and motivation as they work to improve their physical function.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with therapists to create a positive and supportive therapy environment for patients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic exercises and activities.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
