Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to set and achieve meaningful therapy goals.
  • Provide education and training to caregivers and staff to support the integration of therapeutic strategies into daily routines.
  • Document resident progress and maintain clear communication regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and respect by embracing diversity and promoting equal access to care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including older adults and individuals with varying abilities and conditions.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with a focus on person-centered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
