Kollabio, a growing boutique digital consulting firm, that provides Digital Transformation solutions and services to public and private sector organizations, is looking for a Drupal Full Stack Developer with experience in front-end and back-end development to work across a variety of Kollabio projects.

As a Drupal Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for working with customers and creating attractive and user-friendly websites for the clients we are working with. You will be contributing to continued development efforts and ongoing support for PHP based open source content management system and learning management system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performing web applications for enterprise-level Federal government site
  • Mentoring and meeting with clients to discuss website design and function
  • Develop and maintain Drupal and Moodle applications.
  • Create attractive, functional front-end functionality via JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  • Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Monitoring performance of the live website and conducting various performance tests with the client
  • Ensuring HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
  • Leading the entire web application development life cycle from the concept stage to delivery and post launch support
  • Interacting with RESTful APIs and formats, such as JSON and XML

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years building web applications in Drupal 7/8/9
  • 5+ years of strong experience in web application development, both front-end and back-end development
  • Experience with Drupal backend development, including custom module development
  • Familiarity with cloud-based hosting on AWS
  • 5 or more years of experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack
  • 5+ years of strong experience in front-end technologies (most or all) including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
  • Strong knowledge with various PHP web frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits as well as their solutions
  • Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
  • Very strong communication skills to maximize efficiency with team-members and clients
  • Familiarity with Moodle is a plus
