CNC Operator/Programmer
Main Points
The main responsibilities for this position include CNC programming of multiple machine configurations. Other Duties to include implementing process improvements and best practices with particular reference to CNC equipment, tooling and fixturing.

- Onsite in Baltimore, MD
- Pay: 30$-40$/hr. (depending on experience)
- Must have Haas CNC experience
- 3 month contract that could go longer
The main responsibilities for this position include CNC programming of multiple machine configurations. Other Duties to include implementing process improvements and best practices with particular reference to CNC equipment, tooling and fixturing.
Duties
- Create CNC programs for multiple machine configurations within Machine Shop programs based on information supplied via follower, drawing, and verbal instructions.
- Assist Machine Shop Foreman in the maintenance of process followers.
- Support machine shop with “hands on” application during prove out of CNC programs when required.
- In conjunction with the Machine Shop Foreman and the machinists, assist with tooling, jig and fixture design.
- Requisition tooling as needed for jobs prior to programming job.
- Initiate design changes as required.
- Direct equipment modifications and improvements.
- Assist in equipment problem resolution.
- Demonstrate leadership in safety initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
