Experienced GM Service Technician

Job Summary:
Leo Martin Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to provide expert service to our customers. This is a full time, commission-only position located in Lake Jackson, Texas. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for the diagnosis, service, and repair of a wide range of automotive systems and be expected to provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience

ASE and/or GM Certifications and 12+ months’ related experience and/or training are preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License

Compensation & Benefits:

Flat rate based on flag hours completed. Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies. The Automotive Technician will be paid based on completed services and special or difficult jobs. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as paid company holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain a wide variety of taking vehicles.

• Perform scheduled maintenance services for vehicles to manufacture specifications

• Perform complex diagnostic tests and services and repair automotive systems

• Maintain excellent customer service and care for customers at all times

• Keep workspace and assigned benches neat and clean

• Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met and follow manufacturer's guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams

• Ability to effectively explain automotive related findings with customers

• Basic computer knowledge

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
