Job Summary:
Senior Helpers – Fairfax, a reputable home care franchise, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide essential personal and medical care services to one of our senior clients in Fairfax, Virginia. This individual contributor role is a full-time, salaried position in the healthcare/medical field with a competitive pay rate of $19 per hour.

Compensation:
In addition to the competitive pay rate of $19 per hour. We also provide ongoing training and support to ensure our CNAs are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to senior clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with daily household tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clients' needs are being met.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Attend regular team meetings and in-service training sessions.

Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare/medical setting, preferably with senior or elderly clients.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
