POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Sports Director and Sports Coordinator the Soccer Referee will officiate all soccer games between the ages of 6-10. Promote and incorporate the YMCA core values and mission into all aspects of the job and in the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Fulfill the YMCA's mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
- Officiate all sports games between the ages of 6-10 year olds
- Maintaining concentration of the game and reacting quickly to rule violations on the field
- Reviewing all sport related equipment and playing surfaces for safe play.
- Keep an ongoing understanding of the rules and regulations for each sport and age group
- Recognizing when an injury occurs and responding accordingly within the laws of the game.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by the Sports Director or Sports Coordinator.
