Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club is located minutes from interstate 66 at route 29 in Gainesville, Virginia within a pristinely manicured gated community of 750 acres.  The Heritage Hunt community has been a premier home site on the Eastern Seaboard for several years and boasts a private 18-hole championship signature Arthur Hills designed golf course with six tee locations that measure 6,938 yards from the tips.  The golf course is recognized as a true favorite of Northern Virginia, and was recently awarded “Best Golf Course” for the State of Virginia by Virginia Living magazine. 

Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club has been voted "Best of Wedding Venues" by the KNOT in Northern Virginia and DC! Our fall wedding season is packed with numerous weddings and banquets. Additionally, when not serving a wedding we have a full-service restaurant and bar - The Red Oak Bar and Grill that serves the community. 

 

We are looking for a  friendly full- or part-time Restaurant Server/Banquet Server to take and deliver orders while keeping the facility clean and presentable. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members’ and guests' experiences. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Greets guest/members upon arrival; assists with seating as needed
  • Opens/presents/pours wines and champagnes in a professional manner as needed
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing clean-up duties
  • Handles purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales
  • Resolves guest/member problems/complaints; utilizes own best judgment in resolving issues or refers to management as needed
  • Accurately writes tickets for food and beverage items; turns tickets into kitchen/bar in a timely manner; coordinates with kitchen staff to clarify any special requests
