PRN Surgical Technologist - Ambulatory ***Immediate Opening

Inova McLean Surgery Center is a full service ambulatory outpatient facility. We are licensed, Medicare certified, and AAAHC accredited.

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech with a strong orthopedic background to scrub under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. As a member of our surgical team, you will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, equipment and rooms for surgical procedures, recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate corrective and/or preventive measures, and perform other related duties as a key member of the team supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

Work Hours:

• Monday-Friday, day shift only -- no nights, weekends, call, or holiday
• Reporting time generally 0700 or 0730, hours will flex according to unit's needs; 10 hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an appropriate technician program or previous technician experience of at least two years.
• Surgical tech certification preferred. BLS required.
• Experience: Prefer 2 years full-time experience, will consider 1 year experience with certification and strong orthopedic background
