Carrier Account Director – Hyperscaler’s/ Content Providers

Position Location: Texas, North Carolina; South Carolina; Virgina, Georgia, New Mexico (Remote)


Job Overview and Responsibilities:

· Become a compelling member of the Wholesale Sales Team through managing relationships with Hyperscale’s, Strategic Accounts and the achievement of monthly sales and revenue goals.


· Join a company that designs, builds, and operates new-technology-based telecom networks in the education, healthcare, enterprise, and carrier industries throughout the U.S.


· Work in a challenging, entrepreneurial environment that maintains the highest levels of integrity and reliability when partnering with organizations that share our vision and commitment to performance excellence.


What you will be doing:

· Consulting with prospective clients and growing key relationships to provide new telecommunication solutions for their business needs.


· Enticing clients by creating and presenting On-net and Near-net Fiber network solutions to support their needs.


· Improving client satisfaction by traveling to client sites to manage field sales activities.


· Maintaining an accurate client database while building a network through referrals, prospecting calls, trade shows, and peer connections.


· Qualifying leads through the submission of a return on investment (ROI) and accompanying analyses.


· Conducting tactful and mutually beneficial contract negotiations and conversations with C-Level executives and key decision-makers.


· Maintaining quality service and encouraging client retention through coordinated efforts with the Business Service Managers, and the Sales Engineering and Marketing teams.


What you will need:

· 5+ years of experience selling into the Hyperscaler’s/ Content Providers Segment


· Ability to harness and leverage Conterra network, relationships, and contacts across the Carrier,


· Experience selling into Tier 2/3/4 markets.


· Experience selling Lit Fiber, Dark Fiber, DIA, Ethernet.


· A hunter mentality who thinks strategically and can creatively identify targets, crafts the best means to reach those targets, and execute with the perfect mix of efficiency and hard work ethic to get deals over the goal line.


· Experience developing Account Development Plans.


· An entrepreneurial, coachable spirit with a proven ability to work independently.


· CRM experience working in Salesforce.


· Willingness to travel up to 35% for customer site visits, trade shows and conferences.
