General Job Description - Inside Contractor Sales
Reports to: Contracting Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Moscow & Pullman Building Supply is seeking an individual committed to customer service excellence in a high volume sales environment. This position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, actively promoting our products and services, and effectively managing sales processes. Knowledge of construction materials and tools, and an understanding of administrative procedures is essential.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide high-level customer service, maintaining and establishing strong customer relationships

• Effectively communicate product and service offerings

• Manage and execute the entire bid process, ensuring profitability and competitiveness

• Coordinate order fulfillment in line with company capabilities and customer needs

• Resolve order discrepancies in the best interest of both customer and MPBS

• Use point of sale systems proficiently, handling sales orders, purchase orders, and

  quotes

• Recognize and immediately report safety hazards

  Working Conditions:

  Office environment with occasional retail sales floor interactions

  Education:

  High School Diploma or Equivalent; college degree in a related field is preferred.

  Requirements:

• Two (2) years of related work experience or equivalent

• Two (2) years of sales experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must pass a background check

• Must pass a drug test *
