We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Nurse Supervisor to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

  • Attend morning meeting and treatment team and then report back to the unit
  • Report discharges in a timely manner to ensure clients have prescriptions, medications, etc.
  • Ensure bed-board is accurate and up to date; communicate with admissions any pertinent information-unplanned discharges etc.
  • Involved in chart monitoring. Identify and carry out action plans as needed.
  • Review Medical Administration Records System to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Assist Nurse Manager in addressing client grievances, interviewing potential candidates, and following our disciplinary action process within their scope of clinical practice.
  • Ensure infection control Policies and Procedures are maintained.
  • Assist in prior authorization.
  • Review and sign lab-work, obtain and transcribe a physician orders.
  • Nursing assessments, treatment plans, medication administration, vitals, knowledge of detox protocols, assisting medical doctor as needed.
  • May supervise LPN and Medical Assistants
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensure, Experience

  • Current LPN/RN license in Pennsylvania.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques. Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP), Strong leadership ability, team builder, ability to drive continuous improvement projects, confidentiality, multitasker, decisive, excellent problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills, teacher, cooperative within the team framework.
