Job Description

The R&D Coordinator will work closely with both the Participant Testing Director and Research and Development Director to have the latest prosthetic innovations evaluated in a test laboratory. You will be the primary point of contact for test participants who are volunteer members of the R&D test clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating clinic visits for prosthesis adjustments, research visits, and prototype fitting visits. Other duties include distribution and collection of feedback surveys, data analysis, organization of research related documentation including assisting in the creation of grant applications and reports, as well as creating and maintaining project tracking spreadsheets in preparation for test reports. This position will be onsite in Mt. Sterling, Ohio with no remote work flexibility.



Essential Responsibilities of the Job:


  • Act as primary point of contact for prosthetic test participants. You will triage appointment needs assuring supplies and prototypes are ordered and received prior to clinic visits.
  • Efficiently manage scheduling, assuring that both WillowWood personnel and research partners are appropriately scheduled to attend clinic visits.
  • Document and track prototypes, including scheduling fittings and shipping items as required to maintain project schedules.
  • Support the completion of grant applications and reports
  • Ensure data sources are complete and assist with data entry into appropriate format

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to fast moving, changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically with knowledge of Excel functions (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
