As a logistics support coordinator for US Customs and Border Protection you will be managing, issuing, receiving and disposing of information technology assets (laptops, phones, network devices) critical for supporting the Passenger Systems Program Division of OIT.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Managing inventories of IT equipment by supported organization
- Receiving new IT equipment from vendors, checking hardware and software configurations
- Documenting IT assets and entry of the data into CBP databases
- Allocating assets to OIT organizations and supported field organizations
- Issuing IT assets to personnel and completing the issuing paperwork
- Receiving IT equipment from personnel and organizations for storage, maintenance or disposal
- Management of IT asset inventories via software applications and paper receipts
Requirements
- HS diploma
- US CBP Background Investigation
- 3-5 years of IT asset management experience
