Bobcat of the Rockies is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our construction and building materials sales team. The outside sales role is focused on selling concrete accessories, building materials, tools, and light construction equipment (Excluding Bobcat Equipment). As part of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts to ensure targeted sales performance. This includes identifying new target accounts that align with the company's sales objectives, developing these accounts through vertical integration, and qualifying supply chain opportunities. The Account Sales Manager will liaise between customers and our cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products, tools, and equipment according to customer needs. The Account Manager position covers Colorado Springs, with some key accounts in the Southern Denver Metro.

Base Salary: $12,000 Plus Sales Commissions

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to demonstrate successful sales techniques with new and existing customers
  • Building relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conducting negotiations with construction companies of all sizes
  • Resolving customer service issues with vendors, credit, and A/R
  • Providing product and technical support as needed
  • Working in a cross-functional environment
  • Prioritizing daily, weekly, and monthly activities
  • Implementing and communicating sales strategies
  • Maintaining customer communication records
  • Qualifying leads and opportunities
  • Conducting on-site customer visits

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 3 to 5 years of construction and building material sales experience
  • Bilingual strongly preferred - English / Spanish
  • Experience in various business software, such as Microsoft 365 and CRMs preferred
  • Knowledge of basic construction safety or OSHA rules and regulations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10-100 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
  • Potentially exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise
