Accounting/HR Clerk - Entry Level

Burrito Concepts, LLC, a franchisee of Qdoba, is recruiting a dynamic individual for our newly created hybrid role working directly with the Chief Financial Officer and the Director of Human Resources.

Accounting duties include the processing of account receivables and account payables, bank statement reconciliations, tax reporting, and general ledger maintenance. HR duties include support of onboarding, payroll support functions, and employee data management.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounting and/or ADP payroll software preferred.
• Experience processing payroll factoring in gratuities is a plus.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Trustworthy with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required with advanced Excel preferred.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is some flexibility within those times. The ideal candidate will be full-time with 35-40 hours per week, however, part-time with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week will be considered. This is a non-exempt hourly entry-level position with a starting rate of $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
