Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Event Banquet Lead to join our team at Peaks of Otter Lodge in Bedford, Virginia. As an Event Banquet Lead, you will lead the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests. Responsibilities 

• Train, schedule, and supervise banquet team members
• Conduct daily function meetings with banquet managers and team members before events
• Ensure all company policies, service procedures, and safety standards are followed
• Maintain communication with the banquet and kitchen teams 

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory position
• Banquet or catering experience required
• Excellent guest service and employee relations skills
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass ServeSafe alcohol training 
• Basic math and counting skills 
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
• Possible exposure to loud noise
