As Shipping Clerk, you will perform all tasks involved in the shipping process of BAK's products. You will follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions

• Follow safety guidelines and safe work practices.
• Manage inventory including FIFO, housekeeping, and research.
• Process outbound orders, including stock, single, internal and internet by gathering related paperwork, palletizing, and packaging.
• Process all outbound postal shipments.
• Maintain shipment pace to meet on-time delivery requirements.
• Work closely with Customer Service regarding shipments, freight quotes and tracing shipments.
• Work closely with freight carriers to schedule trucks to ensure on-time delivery requirements.
• Accurately input transactions for outbound shipments by entering data into shipping software.
• Maintain a neat and hazard free work area.
• Work with others in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
