We are currently looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our growing team. The Shipping Clerk assists with the processing shipping of products as a function of the department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately maintain shipping records.
- Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues that arise and work to solve them.
- Report any quality issues or other major discrepancies to management.
- Place merchandise in staging area by packaging, lifting items as necessary, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large products.
- Load shipments onto transport vehicles.
- Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs & maintain a clean work environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping or warehousing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently
