School Psychologist - Arlington, VA

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and well-being.
• Participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on issues related to student mental health.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia School Psychologist license.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
