Special Education Teacher - Charles Town, WV
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Charles Town, West Virginia. As a contracted Special Education Teacher with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including parents, administrators, and support staff.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- West Virginia Special Education teaching certification.
- Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
