Job Description
Sparks Group in collaboration with a leading defense industry company is seeking a Buyer. The Buyer will be responsible to support specific contracts to process requisitions and prepare and administer purchase orders for goods and services. Responsibilities:- Process requisitions and update program on status of orders
- Prepares and administers purchase orders for goods and service enterprise wide
- Negotiation of Purchase Order terms and conditions
- Conduct market research and analyze competitors’ products/services
- Prepare price analysis
- Review quotes for accuracy
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a procurement support role
- Experience within the Government Contracting industry
- Knowledgeable with Excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint
- High School Diploma or equivalent
