Full-Time Special Education Teacher - Lansing, MI

Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher seeking a fulfilling opportunity in Lansing, MI? ProCare Therapy is actively looking for a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. Join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide specialized instruction based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
  • Valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Tennessee.
  • Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
