This client is a premier provider of tailored electrical power solutions and services-partnering with a variety of companies in a wide range of industries. Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks relating to testing, maintaining, or replacement and upgrading of electrical apparatuses.
- Responsible for field support equipment, maintaining shop supplies and truck supplies.
- Perform tests and inspections on the following equipment:
- Low and medium voltage circuit breakers and switchboards
- Ground systems
- Low & medium voltage motor control centers
- Two-winding & three winding transformers, dry and liquid-filled
- Low & medium instrument transformers
- Document detailed records using a computer for equipment interface or use of report writing software.
- Assist in writing complete, detailed reports promptly at end of project using a computer.
Preferred Skills and Expertise
- Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or relevant Military experience & 1 year on the job experience OR Highschool education/equivalent & 3-5 years of relevant electrical experience.
- NETA II certification, required.
- Basic computer skills including editing, formatting, document location, and filing through MS Office Suites.
- Use of industry specific software, such as Power DB, RT, Pro-Soft, DTA Field and Office, Omicron PTM and Test Universe.
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night work.
- Must be available for out-of-town and travel of up to several weeks.
