1st Shift Assembly

Staffworks is recruiting for a full time Packager/ Assembler at a well established custom box manufacturer in the heart of Otsego County. The position offers full time hours in a 5 day work week: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30pm. Pay rate is $15/hr. What’s in it for me? Read and write legibly and follow written procedures and verbal instructions Stand 100% of the time Responsibilities: Practice safe work habits at all times. Follow up on all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly. Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety. Additional duties may be assigned by management. * Pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials. * Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. * Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. * Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. * Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Assembly custom boxes, pick and pack, package finished products.
